Ideal for beach weddings, Lanzarote is located around 60 miles off the coast of North Africa, it is one of 7 Canary Islands. The climate is sub-tropical with temperatures around 25-30 degrees for the majority of the year. For this reason many choose this island for their weddings abroad.

The island was formed some 11 million years ago by volcanic eruptions, the last being Timanfaya around 300 years ago which has become one of the islands many attractions where it is possible to witness first hand, the incredible heat still being produced.
